Caring

Chair:  Deanna Levin

The Caring Committee provides support for and assistance to Congregation Etz Chaim members in times of need. There are many different services that are provided on an as-needed basis. Our goal is to have many volunteers, each of whom might be called on once or twice in a year.

Anyone with an interest in helping others is encouraged to get involved. Volunteer opportunities include: making phone calls, preparing meals, baking desserts, driving members to doctor appointments, visiting members who are home-bound or in nursing homes, and setting up funeral meals. Your small time commitment will have a large impact on those you help.

If you are interested in joining the Caring Committee, or if you have any questions about what we do, please contact us. If you know of someone who is in need of our services, please call the synagogue office directly at 630-627-3912.
