Shalom! Welcome!

At Etz Chaim, we pride ourselves on being a growing, thriving center of Reform Judaism where both young and old are welcomed and cherished. As members, we define our synagogue's character through involvement in worship, programming and committees.

Congregation Etz Chaim of DuPage County serves more than 550 families in the western suburbs of Chicago. Our synagogue is conveniently located near I-88 and I-355 between Roosevelt and Butterfield Roads, at 1710 South Highland Avenue in Lombard, Illinois.

Our website is designed to help you learn about our congregation. You can explore our site for information on religious services, our rabbis, religious school, activities, upcoming events, and the many other facets of our Jewish community that make up our congregation.

An Invitation for Etz Chaim Friends of the Lichtenbergs and of Israel
Bobbie and Gershom Lichtenberg will be back in Chicagoland for the first time two years and have a short time to visit the western suburbs. "We would very much like to see as many of our friends and those who want to know more about current life in Israel as possible, so we would again like to have a party and take some time to answer questions about our experiences in Israel. We are happy to explain any aspect of interest to you and to try to give you some more depth than what you get from the American press."
All are welcome to join us on Saturday, May 21st from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Social Hall at Etz Chaim.

Please RSVP to Gershom if you plan to be there.
